You can see in the article components whether the clipping tool (PDF Clipper) is available for the article you have selected.
To clip an article from a full page, either select the clipping from the article components or open the preview and switch to the “Clipping” tab.
Set clipping: Before you can add the article with the clipping to your shopping cart, you must set the clipping by moving the blue crosses at the corners. For multi-page articles, this must be performed for each page.
Cover area: If part of your rectangular cutout does not belong to the article, you can cover it with a white area. Click on “Cover area” and drag your mouse to select the desired area. Please note: The hatching only appears in the working area, not in the PDF.
Delete white cover: Deletes the white covers, starting with the most recently created white cover.
Delete page: “Delete this page” deletes the current page if it is not needed in the clipping.
The clipping is provided as a PDF. You have the following options for viewing it in the PDF:
Enlarge clipping: Uses the page width and height to view the clipping as large as possible on the PDF page.
View metadata: Shows information about the article, similar to the “Article” tab in the preview.
Full page as thumbnail: Shows a thumbnail of the full page, in addition to the clipping. Note: This feature is not available for mobile devices.
